Welcome to AstroPal. We built this product to help you understand the wisdom of Jyotisha — the ancient Indian science of light, timing, and self-understanding. This page explains how to use AstroPal well, and what it cannot and will not do.

乔蒂莎是什么

Jyotisha is one of the six Vedangas — the traditional disciplines that support the understanding of the Vedas. It has been studied, refined, and practised for centuries by sages, scholars, astronomers, and astrologers. The foundations of Jyotisha can be found in classical works associated with authorities such as Maharishi Parashara, Varahamihira, Jaimini, Mantreswara, and many other respected scholars.

However, astrology should not be viewed as an exact or deterministic science in the same way as mathematics, engineering, or physics. Astrology is best understood as a 指导系统.

它有助于识别倾向、优势、挑战、机遇和时机影响因素。它不会剥夺自由意志、个人责任、努力、智慧或神圣恩典。

五大基石

传统智慧认为塑造生活的五个重要因素。

1. 卡拉姆（时间）

2. 斯塔南（地方）

出生地和生活环境会影响环境和机会。

3. 业力（过去的因果与倾向）

根据传统理解，个体会继承过去行为产生的倾向和后果。占星学试图理解这些模式。

4. Karyam（当前努力）

这是你的努力。你的自律。你的选择。你的毅力。没有任何星座能取代聪明的行动。许多拥有困难星盘的人，都是因为非凡的努力而取得非凡的成功。许多拥有有利星盘的人失败是因为缺乏努力。

5. 神圣恩典（Deivam）

总有一个超越计算的维度——祈祷、良好行为、慈善、服务和灵性实践。上帝、导师的祝福和积累的功德能够以任何图表无法完全衡量的方式改变结果。这就是为什么占星术绝不应被视为注定的命运。

潮汐类比

占星就像理解海洋的潮汐。当潮汐有利时，船只可能更容易靠岸。当潮水不利时，可能需要更大的努力。但无论哪种情况——水手仍然必须划桨，船仍然必须控，目的地也必须被选择。

占星术可能指示潮汐。它不能帮你划船。

AstroPal无法回答的问题

AstroPal旨在促进建设性和负责任地使用占星术。某些类别的问题是原则上超出范围，而非出于便利。

死亡预测

AstroPal不会回答以下问题：

• 我什么时候会死？
• 我会怎么死？
• 我的具体寿命有多长？
• 会不会很快又有人死？
• 死亡是否指的是特定时期？

关于这一主题的经典文本较为细腻，且解释不统一;出生数据的不准确性会实质性地影响任何寿命计算;而这些预测可能制造恐惧、焦虑和有害决策，而与健康、福祉、风险管理和生活质量的指导相比，实际价值却很少。

相反，AstroPal可能会在适当情况下提供一般健康趋势、健康指标、风险意识指导和预防建议。

有害或基于恐惧的问题

AstroPal会避免回答那些主要制造恐惧、恐慌或痛苦的问题。

旨在伤害他人的问题

AstroPal绝不能被用来针对、操控、威胁、剥削或伤害他人。这包括关于第三方死亡、衰落、财务崩溃或关系破裂的问题，而当他们意图是对付他们时。
